Anthony Paul LaFata

Anthony LaFata, age 62, was a lifelong resident of the San Fernando Valley. He passed away unexpectedly at his home in Studio City on July 15th. 

Anthony had enjoyed a successful career in the accounting field, having obtained a Masters in Tax from CSUN. Anthony always felt that he was “a healer at heart,” and it is this heartfelt desire to be a healer that brought him to Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine to study and pursue a career in acupuncture. In addition to pursuing this new career direction, Anthony also enjoyed bicycling, music, Martial Arts, and was a cat aficionado.

Anthony is survived by his partner for 18 years, Lynn Sarkany, and his brother, Paul LaFata. He is preceded in death by his parents, Enrico and Lucille LaFata.
