Regina Ann Porter born on October 15th 1964, at the young age of 54, passed away on August 16th 2018 at All Care Living Home in Sherman Oaks. She was the 8th child out of 9. During childhood she went through many ups and downs. Yet, there was a time when her Dad, Elisha Porter, would take her to church. There she would spend time in prayer. As she was praying, she heard Jesus say to her “Everything is going to be alright.” I believe she cherished these words even years later.
Throughout her 20's she had 5 children; Roberto Flores, Samuel Flores, Victoria Porter, Melissa, and Ana Palmer. She was a full time mother who loved her children. Perhaps a few words to describe her character were; strong, caring and sacrificial. As I recall, there were times where she would skip meals to feed her children. Even when she was in the hospital she was always concerned about her children's well being and would offer comfort and advice to them. Another thing is, she had a good sense of humor. She loved the jokes of one of her older brothers, Samuel Porter. She was a wonderful woman and will be missed dearly by family and friends.
