Sheila Kathleen Gonnella passed Sunday morning October 23, 2016 surrounded by children and grandchildren at Valley Presbyterian hospital in Van Nuys, CA.
Sheila was born July 4th 1944 in Long Beach California to Arthur (Bill) Kelly and Viola Pope. She graduated with a degree in nursing in Oklahoma and worked as an RN for more than 40 years primarily in the Los Angeles area.
She will be remembered for her keen mind, irreverent sense of humor and generous heart.
She is survived by her children Cindie Gonnella, Cynthia Haeussler, Sean Kelly, Shannon Keene, Heather Gonnella and 7 grandchildren.
She is preceded by her husband Donald Joseph Gonnella, parents Bill and Viola, sister Patricia and two daughters Diana and Eileen.
A graveside service will be held October 28, 2016 at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park, plot 17 in the LDS section, at 11:30. All are welcome.
